How to Measure AI Agent ROI in INR

A method for measuring an AI agent's return on investment in INR terms, without a benchmark percentage this site cannot verify for your deployment.

Direct answer

AI agent ROI in INR is measured the same way any automation ROI is: fully-loaded cost of the agent (subscription or usage billing, plus integration and review time) against a specific, measured baseline (time or cost per task before automation) over a fixed period — not against an industry-wide percentage figure, which depends on a task mix this site has no way to verify matches yours.

A measurable method, in order

  • Pick one specific, recurring task (not "customer support" broadly) and measure its current cost per unit — time, or a rate you already pay a person or vendor for it.
  • Add up the agent's fully-loaded cost for the same volume: subscription or usage billing, plus the time spent on integration, prompt maintenance, and reviewing its output.
  • Compare over a fixed period (a full billing cycle, at minimum) rather than a single day, since agent costs and error rates can vary as volume changes.
  • Track error or escalation rate alongside cost — a cheaper-looking automation that increases escalations elsewhere hasn't necessarily reduced total cost.

Why this site doesn't publish an ROI percentage

A percentage improvement figure is only meaningful for the specific task mix, volume, and baseline it was measured against — republishing someone else's percentage as a general expectation would be exactly the kind of unverified quantified claim this site's own evidence policy rules out.
